What a browser remembers of a visit, and how to ask it to forget. Last updated 16 August 2026.
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. On your next visit the browser sends it back, and the site recognises the device. This policy also covers local storage, pixels and similar technologies that do the same work by other means.
zanar.in is a static site with no accounts and no advertising network. Two things are stored, both in your own browser:
We run no analytics and no advertising technologies at present. If that changes we will name the provider here and ask your consent before anything is set.
The site cannot work without them. They keep your cart, carry your order to the payment window, protect against abuse, and remember the choice you made in the banner. Set without consent, because you have asked for the service they provide.
Remember a preference or a dismissed notice. Useful, but not essential.
Count visits and show which pages are read, in aggregate. Never used to identify you. Set only with your consent, and none are in use today.
Record what you looked at so advertising can be selected for you elsewhere. Never necessary. Set only with your consent, and we would name the platform before asking for it. None are in use today.
Razorpay may set cookies in its own payment window to process the transaction and prevent fraud. Netlify, our host, may set them where features requiring them are enabled. These are governed by those providers' policies rather than ours.
The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or refuse each category before anything but strictly necessary storage is written. You may reopen it at any time from Cookie preferences in the footer.
Every major browser also lets you view, delete or block cookies under Settings, usually within Privacy or Site settings. Private windows discard them on closing. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a refusal of everything non-essential and never show the banner.
Reopen your cookie preferences and refuse a category, delete the cookies in your browser, or write to concierge@zanar.in. Withdrawal stops further processing from the moment we receive it; it does not undo what was lawfully done before.
You may read every page of this site having refused everything non-essential. Blocking strictly necessary storage will break the cart. If that happens, write to us and we will take your order by correspondence.
We re-check the site whenever it changes and update this page. The date at the top tells you when the current version took effect.
