Hot, not boiling, water in a stable bowl, one pod in. Lean in from a safe distance and breathe softly for seven to ten minutes.
One pod in, heat to about 80°C without boiling. Open the lid carefully, lean in from a safe distance and breathe softly for seven to ten minutes.
The pod stays in the kettle. Later the same day the water may be reheated with the pod still in it, for a second or third sitting.
350 to 400 ml of water to a pod, the same for either method.
Lean in over the vessel or kettle from a safe distance, never directly above it, with the eyes closed. The vapour should feel comfortably warm, never hot.
In a bowl, one pod per ritual, discarded with the water afterwards. In a kettle, one pod may carry more than one sitting in a day; discard the pod and the water at the end of that day, never the following morning. Do not drink it or apply it to skin.
Every box carries the guide.
